Greenhouse Spraying Robot

A remote-controlled, modular farm robot for 100-1000 m² greenhouses. It sprays, measures the soil and maps the data.

The operator never enters the spray area and drives the robot from a tablet.

How it works

  1. Remote driving

The operator steers the robot through the greenhouse while watching the live camera feed on an Android tablet mounted on the remote.

  2. Even spraying

Nozzle arms on both sides apply an even dose to the plants. A flowmeter measures the flow and a sensor tracks the tank level.

  3. Soil data

The soil module measures nutrients, moisture and temperature and records each reading with its GPS position. The data appears on a map in the web panel.

Key features

In the greenhouse

  1. Moves freely inside the greenhouse without rails or fixed paths01
  2. Continuous operation with hot battery swap02
  3. The operator stays out of the spray area, so there is no chemical exposure03
  4. Lidar and GPS hardware already in place for a fully autonomous version04

Control and data

  1. Pump pressure and travel speed adjust to the dosage the user sets05
  2. Soil data matched to GPS position gives the grower a map-based report06
  3. Modular design: spraying, soil analysis and transport modules are interchangeable07

The chassis stays the same. The module changes with the job.

Robot fitted with the spraying module: 55-litre tank and two nozzle arms

Spraying module

Dual pumps (2 × 4 L/min), 55 L tank, two nozzle arms and interchangeable nozzle tips.

Soil analysis module

An NPK probe lowered into the soil by a rack-and-pinion mechanism measures nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, moisture, temperature, pH and conductivity. Every reading is stored with its GPS position.

Other attachments

The modular chassis can be adapted to tasks such as carrying loads, hoeing and soil aeration by changing the attachment.
